- The 12 color seasons come from seasonal color analysis, which sorts people by three axes: **undertone** (warm vs. cool), **depth/value** (how light or dark), and **chroma/contrast** (soft/muted vs. bright/clear). The 12 seasons are the four classic seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) each split into three sub-types.
- Your undertone is the subtle hue beneath your skin's surface: **warm** (golden/peachy/yellow), **cool** (pink/red/blue), or **neutral** (a mix). It is distinct from your visible skin color, and it does not change with a tan.
